Amol Aggarwal (* 1993) ist ein US-amerikanischer Mathematiker, der über Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie und mathematische Physik arbeitet.

Aggarwals Eltern stammen aus Indien. Er studierte bis 2015 am Massachusetts Institute of Technology und promovierte 2020 bei Alexei Borodin an der Universität Harvard. Seit 2020 war er Assistant Professor an der Columbia Universitycite-ref-1[1], seit 2022 dort Associate Professor. Seit 2025 ist er Professor an der Universität Stanford.

Er bewies eine Universlitätsvermutung über die lokale Statistik von Rauten-Parkettiereungen, die vorhergesagten Phasenübergänge im Sechs-Ecken-Modell der statistischen Mechanik, und die Eskin-Zorich-Vermutung über die Asymptotik von Mazur-Veech-Volumina.cite-ref-2[2]

Er war Clay Research Fellow und erhielt 2022 den Rollo-Davidson-Preis, die Packard Fellowship in Science and Engineeringcite-ref-3[3] und die Dubrovin-Medaille. Er ist eingeladener Sprecher auf dem Internationalen Mathematikerkongress 2026.
